Attractions Local to
Okoromai Bay - Bed & Breakfast

Shakespear Park has two other beaches which are Army Bay and Te Haruhi Bay. Army Bay is great for the competent swimmer; Whilst Okoromai Bay is more tranquil.

At Te Haruhi Bay you will find not only native birds and visiting seabirds but the park has its own flock of Peacocks. This is a very popular beach and attracts many people to picnic, play and swim. Within the park you can walk through native bush and see native birds such as the Kereru (Wood Pigeon), Piwakawaka (Fantail) and Tui.
